10/28/2019:  Columbia HS - FMS  3:1
Goals: Frasheri (1)

Dutchmen Modified capped off a good season against Columbia. Columbia scored first early in the game. Andri Frasheri tied the game late in the 3rd quarter at 1-1. Columbia immediately responded and took the lead back 60 seconds after the Dutchmen's goal. Columbia added to the lead by converting a late 4th quarter penalty shot for a final score of 3-1 for Columbia.


10/25/2019: FMS - Niskayuna HS  2:1

It was Red vs. Red as the Dutchmen Modified Boys Soccer Team took on Niskayuna at home on a wet, muddy field. The Dutchmen were quickly taken off guard as Niskayuna sent a clear message that they were there to win - scoring their first goal in less than one minute of the start of the game. The Dutchmen quickly realized at the beginning of the second half that they were not going to let Niskayuna take the game with in the first minute of the game. They dominated the secong half as the ball remained in Niskayuna's end of the field. The Dutchmen were unable to penetrate as their multiple shots on goal were denied by Niskayuna's keeper. Finally, late in the fourth quarter, Frasheri found a hole and ripped a shot past Niskayuna's goalie to tie the game at 1-1. The energy built within the Dutchmen as they continued to pressure Niskayuna. Finally, with minutes left in the game, Frasheri has a corner kick with curved into the goal winning the game for the Dutchmen.

10/23/2019:  Saratoga HS - FMS 2:1
Goals:  Horja (1)

The Dutchmen Modified dug deep but could not level the score. Saratoga came out fast and scored 2 quick goals. The boys fought back while Emmy Horja tallied the one and only goals for the Dutchmen. Saratoga held on to win 2-1


10/21/2019:  FMS - Ballston Spa  4:0

The Dutchmen Modified Boys Soccer Team took their game to the next level facing off against Ballston Spa on Monday afternoon.  Owen Kuk started the route early in the first quarter finishing another professional cross from Thatcher Martin.  Kuk continued his point streak on an assist to Ian Shafer who blasted a shot past Ballston's sprawling goalie, doubling the lead.   Our Dutchmen Duo continued their scoring streak with Aiden Gonzalez netting a goal off a perfect through ball from Albarra Abdelnabi.  Gonzalez finished off the scoring by tapping the ball in after Bentley Gutowski hammered a shot off the chest of Spa's net minder.  The Dutchmen looked sharp raising their record to 5-3-1 as they enter the last week of the season.

The Dutchmen Modified Boys soccer team hosted CBA on Friday. CBA came out to a fast start tallying 2 goals early in the first quarter. The Dutchmen responded late in the first when Albarra Abdelnabi connected with Aiden Gonzalez to cut CBA's lead in half. CBA netted their third goal in the second quarter. The Dutchmen Duo connected for a second time late in the fourth quarter when Gonzalez found Abdelnabi streaking down the middle and burying the ball in the lower corner. Unfortunately, CBA was able to fend off our Dutchmen's late game push and hold on the the victory.

10/11/2019:  Shenendehowa HS - FMS  6:2

The Dutchmen Modified Boys soccer team stood toe to toe with sports giant Shenedehowa Plainsmen on Friday. Shen tallied first with a breakaway goal by the fastest modified player in Upstate NY (#19). Aiden Gonzales quickly responded for the Dutchmen showing off his fitness by slotting the ball near post past the Plainsmen's goalie. Shortly after, Andrew Frasheri, keeping his goal streak alive, netted a direct kick from 20 yards out. The 2nd half belonged to the Plainsmen as they jumped on their Stallions' back and road over our Dutchmen. #19 tallied 4 more breakaway goals while their sweeper tapped in the 6th on a pinball corner kick. Final score was 6-2.


10/4/2019: Averill Park- FMS  1:5
Goals: Brown (1), Frasheri (1), Gonzalez (1), Shafer (1) 

The Dutchmen Modified Boys soccer team came on strong and early in their away game versus Averill Park.  Andrew Alteri had a break-away down the line when he was checked and taken down by an Averill Park player.  This lead to a free-kick taken by Frasheri.  The ball was placed far post where Gonzalez stood ready and headed the ball to the post.  The ball deflected off the post where Brown finished starting the Dutchmen off with their first goal.  Frasheri was on unstoppable this game as he converted his second free-kick in the second quarter seamlessly into the back of the net - taking the Dutchmen to a further lead 2-0.  In the third quarter, the Dutchmen kept the pressure on, when Emmy Horja took a rip of shot from the top of the box.  The shot was too much for the Averill Park keeper as the ball fell out of his hands where Gonzalez took advantage of the opportunity to convert the mistake into the Dutchmen's third goal.  Frasheri was too strong for the Averill Park defense.  He had his second goal as he fired a bullet of a shot in the back of the net.  The Averill Park goalie hardly had a moment to react.  The Dutchmen were up 4-0.  In the fourth quarter Ian Shafer took the ball up the middle of the field, beating 2 Averill Park defensemen and gave the Dutchmen their 5th goal of the game.  Averill Park did not let down.  They were able to score a goal to avoid the Dutchmen shutout.  The Dutchmen prevailed 5-1.

09/27/2019:  Shaker HS - FMS  1:2
Goals: Frasheri (2)

The Dutchmen Modified Boys Soccer team squared off with power house and undefeated Albany Shaker. After a scoreless first half, Shaker got on the board first in the 3rd quarter. Dutchmen quickly responded when Andre Frasheri tallied his first goal in his Dutchmen debut on a 19 yard direct kick that he buried into the side netting leveling the game 1-1. Late in the 3rd quarter, Brady Conboy showed off his blazing speed as he closed down on Shaker's speedy striker to prevent a breakaway. Midway through the 4th quarter, Andrew Frasheri scored his second goal by rifling a shot past Shaker's netminder, which proved to be the game winner. Dutchmen's impressive win brings them to 3-1-1 on the season.


09/25/2019: Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake - FMS  2:2

The Dutchmen dominated the first half of the game but couldn't find the back of the net until the 2nd quarter when Emmy Horja scored off of Thatcher Martin's corner kick to put Guilderland up 1-0. BHBL fired back though and scored on a direct kick to tie the game right before the half. In the 3rd quarter, BHBL scored on a breakaway to take the lead but the Dutchmen continued to battle and tied it back up in the 4th quarter when Horja scored on a penalty kick. The game was tied at the end of regulation and after double overtime, the game remained tied at 2-2. Great game boys!ame right before the half. 09/23/2019: FMS - Colonie  4:2

The Dutchmen boys came out strong despite the hot and humid weather - scoring 3 goals in the first quarter. Luca Cummings held off the Raiders in the first half with the score being 3-0. Ian Shaffer held the Raiders in goal in the second half. He had a great diving save towards the end of the game. The Dutchmen took the win 4-2 over the Raiders.

09/20/2019: FMS - Bethlehem HS  2:3
Goals: Horja (2)

The boys Modified soccer team had an intense battle with the Bethlehem Eagles but came up one goal short. Emmy Horja led the way with two goals. Thatcher Martin delivered a perfect corner kick to tally an assist and net minder Luka Cummings had a strong performance in goal.

09/18/2019: FMS - Schenectady HS  7:1

It was a great game for the Dutchmen - Boys Mod soccer. They won their season opener.
